The Newcomen Collett Foundation Grant is available for voluntary and community groups in the London borough of Southwark, undertaking projects to further educational and extracurricular activities for young people under the age of 25 years. This is achieved in two ways:
- Grants to schools, organisations and other groups.
- Grants to individuals
For organisations, the grantmaking priorities are as follows:
- Assisting schools and other groups to purchase equipment for the benefit of children.
- Supporting extra curricula activities, such as school trips, after school clubs, holiday clubs and uniformed organisations, for children and young people.
- Assisting organisations which provide educational opportunities to schools and colleges in the Borough of Southwark, such as visiting theatre companies and musicians.
