The small project Grants are available for organisations working in partnership with Barts and The London NHS Trust for innovation and improvement in patient care, medical research and education in London.
The scheme is intended to support organisations undertaking projects with the following themes:
- Strategic research – to facilitate partnerships between basic and clinical researchers.
- Enhancement in service delivery – to provide equipment and/or a particular initiative that will result in step change in a clinical area.
- Innovative training and development – to enable staff development and in turn enhance professional skills and boost morale.
- Patient and community engagement – to encourage initiatives which link with local communities and patient groups to inform and raise awareness about specific health issues.
