- Southwark Council supports the London Mutual Credit Union (LMCU) is providing flexible, very affordable loans.
- The Barts and The London NHS Trust – have small project Grants available for organisations working in partnership with Barts and The London NHS Trust for innovation and improvement in patient care, medical research and education in London.
- The Calleva Foundation grant is available for charitable organisations undertaking social welfare or community projects in London or Hampshire.
TRAINING
- GLOT Fashion Academy are working in Partnership with Southwark Refugee Project to run a FREE Fashion Workshop. Come and join us and meet new people while you learn. Starts 6 Sept 2011. Time 10am-12pm

- Community Action Southwark will be holding their Southwark Forum meeting . Date: 28 Sept 2011. Time: 10am – 12pm
- World of Hope Week of Peace Seminar - A one day FREE seminar to bring Peckham & Nunhead community together to celebrate and address the issues of domestic violence against young women and girls. Date: Sat, 24 Sept. Time: 1pm – 5.30pm.
SE15 NEWS
- Aaina Women’s Group has a room for hire, it has wooden flooring and can seat upto 18 people. This would be suitable for anyone who wishes to host a small seminar or function.
PVSF’s WEBSITE DEVELOPMENT & SOCIAL MEDIA WORKSHOP
The Workshop is part of PVSF’s innovative Making Connections Marketing Project aimed at community and voluntary organisations. Topics will include:
- Website layout & web design software
- Content – images, copy writing & story telling
- Web hosting & domain names
- Multi media – audio (podcasts), presentations & video
- Social media marketing – using Facebook, Twitter, Blogs & YouTube etc
- Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), online marketing, keywords
- Online tools e.g. donations, statistics & advertising
