The Tayo Situ Foundation (TSF), established in memory of the late Mayor of Southwark,Tayo Situ, is inviting nominations of exceptional young people for its inaugural awards scheme. The scheme seeks to recognise achievements by young men and women (aged 16 to 25) in a variety of fields including (but not confined to) academic, sporting, and active citizenship or volunteering.
Nominations proposing a young person are especially encouraged from community organisations. Please either email michael_situ@hotmail.com or send a letter (to 12 Lyndhurst Way, SE15 5AT) setting out, in not more than 250 words, why you have nominated the individual(s) for the award.
All nominations will be carefully considered by the Foundation and the winners will be announced at a Gala Awards Ceremony on Friday 11 May 2012 in Southwark Council’s Tooley Street headquarters.
The closing date for your submissions is Friday 20 April 2012.
