Free Decorating for Community Premisis

Last year a number of TRAs worked with an organisation called ADCRIS who carried out decorating and refurbishment works on a number of TRA halls. ADCRIS has agreed to extend their offer to community organisations and community halls.

The Adcris project carried out a variety of works which included;

  • decorate the entire inside of building
  • decorate the external of building
  • tiling
  • plastering
  • sanding down of wooden flooring and revarnishing
  • paint floors with specialised paint
  • removing old pelmet fittings
  • wallpapering of ceiling
  • filling and making good
  • rebuilding of window ledges
  • carpentry
  • plumbing works
  • ripped out the old bar area
  • fitted out an IT suite / office
  • fit a new kitchen,

ADCRIS do not charge labour costs as they receive funding from a government initiative which gives young people the opportunity to train and gain work experience. This gives community groups the opportunity of having works done that costs the price of materials plus a management charge.

If you are interested in speaking to ADCRIS please contact;
Lynne Ottaway-Reid on 0207 525 5206 or 07958 539688
or by email to;  lynne.ottaway-reid@southwark.gov.uk
