PVSF Capacity Building Evaluation

PVSF is conducting an evaluation of it’s Capacity Building Service.  If you received help from our Capacity Building Service during 2011-2012 we need your feedback to help us improve our service in the future and provideevidence of how the service is helping you to make a difference in Southwark.

We have sent beneficiaries of this service  an evaluation form which you will need to complete and return by Friday 23rd March 2012. Forms should be emailed to: david@peckhamforum.org.ukor post to Peckham Voluntary Sector Forum, 48 Willowbrook Road, Peckham, London SE15 6BW.

FUNDING

  •  Southwark Council has established a sustainability fund for third sector organisations in Southwark, it is aimed to help organisations which deliver high quality public services adapt to a changing and challenging funding environment.  Deadline: 23 Mar 2012. Grant: £25,000
  • The Southwark EnviroGrant scheme is offering funding for community projects .  This will be the 2nd second year that Veolia Environmental Services has managed this funding opportunities. Grant: up to £1000. Deadline: 31 Mar 2012.

Southwark’s Voluntary/Community Sector Transition/sustainability Fund

Revatalise – Help us to shape Peckham

FUNDING

    The Tesco Charity Trust Community Awards Scheme provides funding that will offer practical benefits, such as equipment and resources for projects directly benefiting children and young people ( including children with disabilities) living in local communities.  Grant: £400-£5000.
    Starbucks Youth Action provides grants to help young people aged 16-24 run community change projects in their local area in greater London.     Starbucks aims to  encourage and inspire a generation of young people to take action and create positive local change. Grant: £2,000 Deadline: 5 Mar 2012.

PVSF will be running a 1 day Project Evaluation Framework Workshop on Sat, 28 Jan 2012 (10am – 4pm),  so if you would like to learn how:

  • Demonstrate impact – how your project will benefit your participants
  • Show progression of beneficiaries – what your participants will go onto after your project.
  • Evidence track record – how past work has shaped your new project.
  • Convince funders why they should fund you in the future.
  • Produce an evaluation that reflects your achievements.

Starbucks Youth Action Grant

Starbucks Youth Action provides grants to help young people aged 16-24 run community change projects in their local area in greater London.     Starbucks aims to  encourage and inspire a generation of young people to take action and create positive local change.
