Southwark Arts Forum, a leading arts non-for-profit organisation charity based in South London, is inviting artists and art organisations from different cultural backgrounds to a global get together.
From the Korean for ‘Hello!’ the Annyong network event is designed for practitioners from across the borough of Southwark and its environs to meet and share ideas with the aim of initiating cultural exchange and creating future opportunities to work together.
Bridget Edwards, Director of Southwark Arts Forum, said:
“We are incredibly lucky in South London to have such a rich and diverse pool of artistic talent as seen through our local musicians, visual artists, poets, filmmakers, dancers and designers. Artists are key to our communities and we want to bring them together to celebrate their own work while sowing the seeds for future projects and collaborations.
“Through conversation and networking we hope to inspire and help them create new partnerships with like-minded creatives. This is the first of these events and we are very excited to see the results!”
Date/Time: Tuesday 29th May 2012, from 5-8pm
Venue: The intercultural networking event is being held in the main hall of In-spire, the crypt of St Peter’s, Liverpool Grove, SE17 2HH
