Volunteer Centre Southwark

New Training Programme 2010 - 2011

The Active Citizens hub can support you to get involved in your community in Southwark by providing you with guidnac, training or just listening to your ideas.  They offer FREE training, develoiping skills such as public speaking, project development and effective lobbying.

There are also course if you interested in taking on a particluar role, such as a trustee or magistrate.

Free Sports First Aid Qualification

To be able to access the course you have to be over 19 and live in Southwark

Sport first ais course designed specifically for pitch side first aiders, physiotherapists, coaches and sports leaders etc.

Qualification - ITC Level 2 certificate in First Aid for Sport

Date - Saturday 7th & Sunday 8th August 2010
Venue - Pekcham Rye Adventure Playground - Homestall Road (based in the corner of Peckham Rye Park), London SE22 0SB
Time - 9am -5pm
